This helps us get to know you, and where our puppy will be loved for the rest of their perfect little lives! It’s as easy as that! We’re excited…how about you?
Adoption Process
We begin taking first come first serve deposits when a pregnancy is confirmed. Then around 4-5 weeks, families will choose their new puppy…but be warned, sometimes the puppy chooses you. It happens way more often than you think!

Deposit
We require a $200 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of your application being approved, which goes toward the final price of the puppy. The deposit shows us that you are as serious about wanting a puppy as we are about providing you the best puppy. Deposits do not roll over to any other litter and are only valid for a puppy from the litter or puppy you choose except in very rare circumstances, such as death of your puppy (that’s never happened, and we really hope it never does!). We accept our deposits via Cash, Venmo, PayPal Friends & Family, and Zelle.

Get Prepared For Your New Puppy
You will get a message from us once we have received your deposit letting you know what to expect for the next few weeks until your puppy comes home. We'll send you information about a go-home date, pick-up, things you will need to get your puppy, etc.

*Please note: Shaggy Mountain Pups, LLC reserves the right to reserve pick(s) of the litter at any time from any litter for the preservation of our breeding program. We also have the right to refuse anyone that we do not see fit to have one of our puppies.
